Anita Neukirch
is an installation artist, a music and sound composer
based in the Rhein-Main area, Germany.
While she studies Cultural Anthropology and Educational Science at the University of Mainz, she seeks to understand societal phenomena, such as digitisation with its promising but also alien aspects
of the human experience.
As she has a keen interest in hybrid art forms, she likes to combine installation and sound and uses digital and analogue producing techniques to shape harmonic textures. Within this terrain, she is exploring corelational agencies of various matter to
evolve her compositional capabilities.
She is usually looking for creative entanglements with other artists and cultural creaters to realise interdisciplinary projects, whereby
she takes part in melting her musical and technical
knowledge into journeys open to explore.

Her EP
« Speculative Temples »
is currently still in production.
Neukirch explores repetitive material in its static and fluid forms as well as its evoking psychophysical effects. She delves into techniques of minimal music and modular synthesis and blends it with sublime essences of sacral music. Within this practise,
she composes with partly homophonous, partly polyphonous objects, such as bordunes and modulating sequences as textures that invite contemporary
spiritual seekers to states of contemplation.
